Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in London. CBW are currently recruiting for a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to efficiently manage and support a team of engineers of all disciplines on a day to day basis across numerous mobile and static sites in the London area. Ensuring consistent operational delivery through smart working and the efficient execution of their day to day tasks.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday - 08:0am to 17:00pm
Key duties & responsibilities
- Reporting to the Contract Manager
- To oversee/manage PPM and Reactive maintenance duties to assets on the contract either with direct labour or subcontractors for the Hard FM services working across a portfolio of circa 20-25 sites in and around London
- To supervise staff and contractors to ensure that the Mechanical and Electrical elements of the contract are delivered.
- To make recommendations of replacement parts and materials in order to ensure the highest levels of equipment and building availability
- To ensure that work is carried out to the highest standards and that all statutory legislation is complied with.
- To develop and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.
- To undertake a proactive approach in ensuring all plant and equipment is fully operational to maintain operational efficiency.
- Attending monthly contract meetings where required
- Potential site cover covering holiday/sickness
- Attend emergency call outs and undertake routine PPM activities where required
- Make sure all sites under you remit are fully statutory/non statutory compliant
- Attend site audits if required
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Dealing with a wide range of M&E emergencies
Requirements
- Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience.
- A proven track record in building maintenance
- Good organisational skills, able to prioritise workload
- Good communication skills together with a first class customer service ethic
- Must hold valid full UK driving license
- Previous Experience with supervising, mentoring & training engineers
- Previous experience in supervising specialist Sub-Contractors
- Raising quotations and submitting to the customers
- Good IT skills – Intermediate level, excel and Word
- Excellent communication skills as this will be a client facing role, being courteous and polite at all times
- Previous experience of assisting to compile monthly reports for submission to the customer
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
- Previous experience of issuing relevant permit to work documentation
