Job Description:
We are a small, established company currently seeking an experienced Fire Door Fitter
to join our team. This role is part of a long-term contract with one of the largest landlords in the country, focusing on fire door maintenance and installation within the North London and South London
areas.
As a Fire Door Fitter, you will be responsible for both the installation and maintenance
of fire doors across multiple sites. You will work within a close-knit team, where attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount. A company van and fuel card will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fire Door Installation:
Installing fire doors according to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Fire Door Maintenance:
Carrying out maintenance and repairs on existing fire doors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance:
Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with relevant fire safety regulations and industry standards.
- Team Collaboration:
Working alongside a small team, providing support and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Vehicle Use:
Driving a company van to various job sites across North and South London.
- At least 5 years of experience
in fire door maintenance and installation.
- Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and safety standards.
- Full UK driving license(essential for the role).
- Ability to work independently and within a small team.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and team members.
