Commercial Gas Engineer – Glasgow - Salary up to £43,000 DOE CBW Staffing Solutions is hiring for a Commercial Gas Engineer to join a top-tier facilities management organisation on a permanent basis.   • Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (core working hours)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, maintain, and repair a variety of commercial gas appliances including boilers, heaters, and pipework.
  • Carry out routine inspections, safety checks, and compliance testing to ensure systems meet industry standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in gas appliances, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Perform gas leak tests and carbon monoxide checks to identify potential hazards.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams and contractors on repairs and system upgrades.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer within the facilities management sector
  • Gas Safe Registered with relevant certifications (e.g. ACS, COCN1, CODNCO1).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential for mobile role).
  • Strong knowledge of commercial gas appliances, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical & electrical faults.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
